Here are the different ways we’ve purchased scratch art for kids. It was a-ha moment that kids of all ages enjoy this activity. He began to scribble little doodles and giddy squeal! In addition, we had a teenage babysitter come and ask if she could also use the scratch art paper while she did art time with our kids. The shock of my life came when my baby who was 18 months old discovered his brother’s quiet time kid’s table and found the scratch art paper. I have continued to buy scratch art pads as a treat and gift for my son. But I found a quick vacuum picked everything right up in a minute. I could not believe how much he loved it! The only downside was the scratch art does leave a few black shavings. (Here’s how to do quiet time for kids if you’re interested). When my oldest one three, I bought a scratch art notepad on a Black Friday deal as a quiet time activity. Their little smiles as they see what colors lie beneath the paper makes it so much fun! I can tell this same excitement for an easy art project that reveals so much color and creativity yields similar emotions for my kids. It must have been a brand new product at the time, and it felt like pure magic! All it took was the right paper and a wood scratch art pencil, and I was set for magic! The way the rainbow scratch art revealed whatever I wanted to draw was one of my most joyful and vivid school memories as a kid! I can remember being a child and a teacher passing out scratch art paper for a school project. Students should be able to use rubrics in many of the same ways that teachers use them-to clarify the standards for a quality performance, and to guide ongoing feedback about progress toward those standards. When used as part of a formative, student-centered approach to assessment, rubrics have the potential to help students develop understanding and skill, as well as make dependable judgments about the quality of their own work. Rubrics are often used to grade student work but they can serve another, more important, role as well: Rubrics can teach as well as evaluate. A rubric is a document that articulates the expectations for an assignment by listing the criteria, or what counts, and describing levels of quality from excellent to poor. Rubrics have become popular with teachers as a means of communicating expectations for an assignment, providing focused feedback on works in progress, and grading final products. Most areas in mind levels will have some type of object that glows green like the health orbs – its water coolers in the Loboto’s Labyrinth level – and destroying them guarantees a health orb. ![]() Picking these up restores a couple of Mental Energy brain segments, bringing Raz’s health back up. If you aren’t at full health but don’t want to waste a PSI Pop, smashing destructible objects also has a chance to drop green healing orbs as well as Psitanium. You might never use them but they’re always good to have. Once you’ve got at least the Psifold Wallet upgrade and a decent amount of Psitanium, then healing items will be useful to stock up on. Since Raz starts out with a maximum Psitanium capacity of 100, that’s enough to buy four PSI Pops, which restore a chunk of Raz’s Mental Energy, or one Dream Fluff, which fully restores Raz’s Mental Energy when it becomes empty. There's so much new content here that I'll be playing this one for 300+ hours, just like I did with BL2. Which, contrary to beliefs of trolls on the internet, is still high quality and worth full price. Despite the few flaws, this game is essentially a full game sized expansion. That damn jet boss fight near the end is horribly designed and very frustrating. We need a new solution for self-reviving. No wasting time running mindlessly around a huge map. Just give us the rewards when we complete the task. That being said, most important characters are returning from older games. Cons: -New characters are mostly uninteresting or forgettable. Hovering vehicles! -Well designed and fun environments. Very well done, possibly the best in the series (besides Dragon Keep, of course). Nisha has been my favorite Vault Hunter from all three games. Other improvements include useful vending machines, the grinder, cryo and laser guns, fun boss fights (especially the last one), and fantastic characters and skill-trees. Front and foremost is the low gravity and oz kits, which adds a whole new dimension to combat. Tons of improvements have been made to the Borderlands formula. Seeing Jack's transformation from the anti-hero to insane villain was great. They have genuine personalities, shown through cutscenes, banter, comments and by actually responding to NPCs. No longer do they remain silent throughout the entire game. Pros: -The playable characters are actually part of the story this time. I'll just list the pros and cons instead of a traditional review. Anyway, this game is just as good as BL2, although in different ways. The only two negative written reviews on here are either wrong or don't give valid reasons.
